Japanese Ambassador Endo Kazuya recently paid a courtesy call on Philippines’ National Security Adviser Eduardo Oban Jr.
During the meeting, Ambassador Endo expressed Japan’s intention to further deepen its security cooperation with the Philippines. He also emphasized Japan’s commitment to working closely with the Philippines, in light of recent developments, including the updated Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) and the revision of the Three Principles on the Transfer of Defense Equipment and Technology.
Both officials agreed to further promote security cooperation between the two countries.
