The Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), Export Development Council (EDC), and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT) recently opened the four-day National Exporters’ Week (NEW) 2023 at the Sheraton Manila Hotel in Pasay City.

Santos, DTI – Industry Development, Trade, and Investment Promotion Group (IDTIPG) Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo, and DTI-EMB Director Bianca Pearl Sykimte.Â
With this year’s theme, “Agile Philippines: Empowering Exporters towards Global Excellence,” the NEW aims to improve the export industry’s capabilities and position it as a dynamic force in the global market.
The highlight of the NEW 2023, the National Export Congress (NEC), is aimed to put a spotlight on the shared vision of the public and private sectors for the Philippines’ export industry.
The NEW 2023 features an Exporters’ Exhibit for the whole duration of the event.
Also part of the event was an activity focused on Capacity Building workshop for women-owned/led businesses, organized in partnership with the International Trade Center (ITC), and the Women Business Council Philippines under the SheTrades Philippines Hub and supported by the Visa Foundation. Â
The NEW 2023 also features Business Matching Activities, an Export Enabler’s Exhibit, Fireside Chats, and Exporters’ Night, among others.
