Beauty products will never get out of season.
Every generation has its own brand of beauty secrets that adorn women of all ages.
What stands out in this modern era is the blending of newly discovered sets of potions and the evolving technology. The result? An astounding beauty creation that caters to most skin and beauty types!
If Cleoptra is said to have bathed in milk, today’s technology affords not only milk to boost beauty, but different flavored “bathing solutions” from Korea that literally splashes today’s ladies right inside the comfort of the shower room.
One of the exhibitors, BTYLAB Director Daniel Kim, showcased his products called “Aroma Spa Vitamin Beauty Filter” in a recent beauty and wellness international exhibition at SMX in Pasay City.
Kim explains the reason some shampoos and beauty products fall short of delivering what their products offer is that shower water is generally contaminated with water pipe rust and chlorine.
“These damage skin and hair follicle during shower. Moreover, these shower contaminants result in dry skin, itchiness, allergy and hair loss from time to time. Damaged skin and hair roots cannot absorb good ingredients from cosmetics and hair care,” the BTYLAB Director notes.
What’s being used now in Korea, he adds, are these flavored showers. They are attached to the standard shower head with these “beauty filters,” which not only serve as direct beauty potion, but also as anti-bacterial agents.
This latest beauty invention has these flavors: milk, glycerine, tea tree, trehalose and aroma oil. All these, Kim says, already contains Vitamin C, i.e. 1400 pieces of lemon.
He also notes all the shower heads his company offers have passed skin allergy and irritation test, residual chlorine test and detection of hazardous substance test.
The products have a natural allure to them, but the price may be prohibitive for some sectors. But if their efficacy outweighs the cost, they may be worth the investment.
Aside from BTYlab, Taiwanese firm Yania also showcased an array of its own beauty products.
According to Yania Biotech Manager Morgan Hsieh, his personally invented product line is a breakthrough for today’s sensitive skin.
But like BTYlab, Yania’s beauty products are what he describes as “high-class.” This means its price is also on the high-end.
Currently, his products already have a market in Japan.
But a marked difference in Japanese climate and skin is noted. So how does Yania address this?
Morgan explains he has his own laboratory in Taiwan and he will be making adjustments both to his product pricing and the compatibility of his products’ efficacy to the Filipino weather and capacity to purchase.
“I will change the formulation. I will customize the formulation for the Philippines,” Morgan explains.
He assures that once he has made the necessary adjustments, his products will be preferred over existing products in the market, because customers will be getting high-end products at cheaper prices.
Meanwhile, locally made beauty products were also among the most eye-catching offers in the exhibit.
What with a long line of uniquely crafted soaps that were not only good for personal use, but as gift items befitting the upcoming seasons?
Artisan Skin Science Institute displayed a wide array of its colorful and flavorful set of product lines that will definitely be both superb beauteous skin enhancer and a fabulous gift idea for very creative consumers.
Caution, however, is given to everyone who has little kids who may not yet be very discerning, as to whether the uniquely crafted and artistically inviting products are soaps or foodstuff.
