Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada received a courtesy call on the newly-appointed Malaysian Ambassador to the Philippines Dato’ Abdul Malik Melvin Castelino bin Anthony on May 29, 2023, at his office in the Senate. They discussed the ways to boost further the bilateral ties between the two governments and other areas of mutual interest such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) trade agreement, the ratification of which was concurred in by the Senate on February 21, 2023.
