Japanese Ambassador Endo Kazuya inspected the First Philippine Industrial Park in Batangas and attended the inauguration of Murata Manufacturing’s new production building yesterday.
In his remarks, Ambassador Endo highlighted how Japanese firms like Murata remain vital contributors to the Philippine economy, generating jobs and bringing cutting-edge technology that uplift communities and industries alike.
He also noted the new production facility is a symbol of Japan and the Philippines’ shared commitment to building a future-ready, resilient, and inclusive economy.
To enhance the Philippines’ role as a key player in the global electronics supply chain, Ambassador Endo said Japan welcomes initiatives that support the country’s vision for industrial growth and technological advancement.
