Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss recently handed over two units of water filtration system to Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, courtesy of MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation.
The life-saving portable system will soon be deployed to provide clean and potable water to residents affected by the eruption of Mount Kanlaon in Negros.
The filtration units are manually operated, do not require electricity or generators, and designed for disaster-hit areas where power is down.
Operation Blessing President Peter Kairuz and Director Gigi Endaya received the units at the foundation’s warehouse. They will soon be deployed to communities in urgent need of clean water.
